i just had Implanon on put in then found out i have high cholesterol, i have read that people with high cholesterol shouldn’t use implanon but it doesn’t say why.. anyone have any ideas? i need to use some kind of contraception as i jus had a baby 6 weeks ago and the pill doesn’t work and the injections contain the same thing as the implant

There is a question as to whether Implanon increases cardiovascular risk factors including C-reactive protein, a marker of inflammation.
