I'm 45 and need to lose approximately 75 lbs and lower my cholesterol by 60 points. Does anyone have any advice on how to start and keep going? I know the obvious, but are there any other suggestions anyone can give me so that I don't give up?

Have you been doing the obvious? Start there. Ask again if you hit a wall with the last 30 pounds or 30 points.
