Hi,
I recently found out my bad cholesterol is getting higher, and I am looking for websites that offer simple meals (college student, here) that taste good!
Though I don’t have menu ideas for you I can tell you about some foods that will lower your blood cholesterol level. These foods have soluble fiber in them. This type of fiber dissolves in water to form a gel-like material that in turn helps lower blood cholesterol. You can find generous quantities of soluble fiber in oats, peas, beans, apples, citrus fruits, carrots, barley, and psyllium.
Cutting back on the amount of animal proteins (meat, eggs, mayo., sour cream, cheese, etc.) that you consume will also help lower your bad cholesterol.
