I use WebMD to find info though there are many levels. They also have links to articles & studies so you can see why different reports say what they do. Generically you want your good cholesterol to be above 40 at least your bad under 100 & the other I ignore so I refer you to webmd. Your Dr. will tell you what is right for you. My other half has "normal" bad cholesterol but still has to take a cholesterol lowering medication because his "good" cholesterol is too low. (meaning his bad cholesterol will get out of control if left untreated) He has a heart condition so it's better for him. So his number isn't bad but it still needs help. Check the guides but let your Dr. guide you. Good luck!
