Discussions, Resources and Solutions To Reduce Bad Cholesterol

I've read that eating 1/2 raw onion can raise 'good' (HDL) cholesterol….what about cooked onions?

Does cooking the onions reduce or eliminate the health benefits, if there actually are any benefits? Do any other fruits & veggies (cooked or raw) also raise HDL?

Since there are no legitimate research studies done on raw or cooked onions, it is hard to say if they have any effects on HDL level.

One thing for sure, eating raw onions if not having anything to do on HDL, will keep other people away from you!!!
