Help regarding maintaing lower LDL levels?

I had my L.D.L level of 170 mg/dL few months ago and on advice of my doc I undertook lifestyle modification.. I took or morning walk and jogging (around 7 Kms 6 days a week) .. started eating balance diet.. I lost around 8 kgs in four months.. I checked my LDL level around 2 months back and it was 70 (HDL being 38).. I have been maintaining my healthy lifestyle and I got my Lipid profice done again yesterday.. and to my utter shock the LDL level has gone up to 112 (HDL 48)..

I am not able to comprehand this increase.. can somebody please..please explain the possible reasons and remidy?

I don’t eat anything fired or high in carbohydrate.. I try to stick to proteins and fruits..

Blood lipid levels do vary for a number of reasons, and the length of fasting prior to the blood draw can significantly impact the results. It is entirely possible that a retest after a 12 hour fast would give you a different result. But I would definitely discuss this with your doctor to get his or her take on it. Additional metabolic studies might be advised.
