how to reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol and increase hdl(good) cholesterol? does excercising help in any way?

Perfect timing! I just had some blood work done, and cholesteral wasd just slightly high, but my LDL was too high.
The dr increased my chol. meds, and said to exercise. Exercise does wonders,.
Working out in a gym isn’t really necessary. try walking a mile a day.That’s what was recommended.

different foods provide he two different types of cholesterol…. i dont remember which foods provide which cholesterol…. but to get more "good" cholesterol eat more of those foods and less of the ones that provide the "bad" cholesterol.

Diet and exercise are the best way to start off. I do know that nuts, particularly almonds do help raise HDL levels. HDL is your good cholesterol.
