research the possibility that an overgrowth of candida albicans could be responsible for raised cholesterol levels ……….. raised cholesterol levels can be due to a system over run with candida and addressing the issue from that point of view may just provide the relief needed …….. a yeast and sugar free diet and addressing food intolerances that you may have will go a long way towards resolving high cholesterol levels ……Illnesses and conditions that are affected by untreated candida include:

• Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

• Fibromyalgia

• Hypoglyciemia

• High Cholesterol Levels

• High Blood Pressure

• Mental Illness

a nutritionally oriented physician or a naturopath can fully assess you and provide you with the chemical and food intolerance tests you need and can also guide you through an anticandida diet.

peace baby

Like some of the other users suggest, perhaps incorporating more fiber into your diet can help. Fish oil and omega 3 fatty acid are often touted as helping cholesterol but the evidence for this is somewhat loose. There is certainly no harm to giving it a shot, however.

Cutting back on cholesterol in food is also very important. Eggs, cheese, and poultry all have high sources of cholesterol. You can exercise all day long, but if your diet is poor, your numbers probably won’t change much.

The other option would be to go to a cardiologist and get put on a statin or non-statin hyperlipidemia medication. These drugs work amazingly well. Statins potentially cause muscle pain as a side effect, so make sure to discuss any concerns you have with your doctor.
